EU Energy Label

What is an energy label?

The energy label gives information about the energy efficiency of a product. The label rates products from dark green (most efficient) to red (least efficient). The label also shows total energy consumption (kWh per year) and provides other information relevant to the product.

In the case of our electric water heaters, the noise level is displayed in decibels (dB). The annual energy consumption for each product is calculated using specific test method. Since 26 September 2015, every electric water heater we sell comes with an energy label and is also displayed on every product page on our website. You may be familiar with energy labels already, from household white goods items such as washing machines and dishwashers.

What does the label look like?

This is an example energy label for one of our electric water heaters. Here, you can see the product's energy rating (Green - A rated), the product's noise level in decibels (dB) and the product's annual energy consumption under the test method in kilowatt hours per annum (kWh/annum).
